Diasporas in the modern world regional context and potential for sustainable development of the country of origin

This collection of articles presents the materials of the third International Scientific Conference on modern migration, held in Chisinau, on 21 December 2017.

Representatives of the academic community of several countries, a number of universities and research centers from Belgrade, Bender, Bielefeld, Bratislava, Budapest, Bucharest, Dushanbe, Yerevan, Kiev, Chisinau, Coimbra, Comrat, Krakow, Moscow, Nashville, Paris, Sibiu, Sochi, Istanbul, Chernovtsy, Tiraspol, Tel Aviv participated in the conference.

The collection also reflects the results of the third Open Contest for the Best Research Paper on Migration organized by the International Organization for Migration, Mission to Moldova in 2017 for young researchers from the right and left bank of the Nistru River.

The articles included in this collection are based on a variety of statistical and sociological material, which was reflected in numerous tables, diagrams, figures.

The collection will be of interest to researchers, teachers, graduate students and students, as well as to all those who are interested in the problems of modern migration and its regulation.
