Centre for prevention and protection of Victims and potential victims of trafficking in Chisinau leaflet
A leaflet presenting the Centre for Assistance & Protection of victims and potential victims of human trafficking (CAP) in Chisinau. The CAP is a unique crisis intervention centre and functions as an emergency shelter for (potential) victims of trafficking, being one of the key elements within the National Referral System for assistance and protection of victims and potential victims of trafficking. The CAP was created in 2001 by IOM Mission to Moldova and handed over to the Government in 2008, when it became a public institution subordinated to the Ministry of Labour, Social Protection and Family. IOM supports the activities implemented and the services provided within the centre, which include medical, psychological, legal, and socio-economic assistance.
